Day 3, London, September 22nd
Woke up at 7, walked halfway
to Brit Museum before we realized it opened at 10:30. Took red 2x decker
bus to Tower of London (its a fortress, not a tower), then went to Tower Bridge
and London Bridge. Took tube to Buckingham palace and caught 2 hour
walking tour which briefly saw: Buckingham, Trafalgar, Westminster, Big Ben,
and Parliament. Also place where soccer may have been invented.
After tour went inside Westminster Abbey during Worship hours for about a
minute, then got scolded out (come back during touring hours!). Walked to
Imperial war museum which was mostly Holocaust museum, though some interesting
MI5 and 6 stuff. Also, cool stories about Victoria cross winners.
Took bus to then walked to SoHo for spaghetti dinner, and now early bed
(9) to be ready for driving tomorrow (Waking up at 3:30 for Stonehenge wooo).
Feet
really hurt! Big blister on both my pinkies! Whee!
